Terms of Service

Our covenant of trust, honesty, and Islamic adab with every Muslim family we have the honour of serving — InshaAllah.

Effective Date: 1st Muharram 1447 AH Last Updated: May 2026
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَوْفُوا بِالْعُقُودِ

"O you who have believed — fulfil all your covenants."

— Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:1

A Brief Word Before You Read

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

Alhamdulillah — all praise and gratitude belong to Allah ﷻ, the Lord of the worlds. We send peace and blessings upon our beloved Messenger Muhammad ﷺ, his noble family, his rightly-guided Companions, and all those who follow them in goodness until the Last Day.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Quran Skool platform, our online classes, our website, and all services we provide ("the Service"). By enrolling your child or yourself, by booking a free trial, or by simply using our website, you ("you," "the Parent," "the Student," or "the User") agree to abide by these Terms, InshaAllah.

We have written this document in plain, dignified language — free of legal trickery — because the Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught us: "The Muslim is the brother of the Muslim. He neither oppresses him, nor deceives him, nor abandons him" (Sahih Muslim 2564). Our terms reflect that adab, BarakAllahu feekum.

If, after reading, anything is unclear — please reach out via WhatsApp at +92 331 0006836 and we shall clarify with sincerity, MashaAllah.

Section 01

Acceptance of These Terms

By using any part of the Quran Skool Service — whether by booking a free trial, enrolling in a paid course, or simply browsing our website — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, InshaAllah.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, we kindly ask that you refrain from using the Service. We bear you no ill will, and we make du'a that Allah ﷻ guides you to the platform best suited for your family. Ameen.

If you are enrolling on behalf of a child (anyone under the age of eighteen), you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of that child, and that you accept these Terms on the child's behalf.

Section 02

Definitions & Interpretation

Throughout these Terms, the following words shall carry the meanings below:

Quran Skool / "We" / "Us" / "Our"
The online Quran academy operating under the brand "Quran Skool," providing online Quran education to Muslim families across the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and beyond.
Service
All online Quran classes, Tajweed instruction, Hifz programmes, Noorani Qaida classes, Islamic studies, free trials, communications, and any related digital offering provided by Quran Skool.
Parent / Guardian
The adult enrolling a minor for classes, financially responsible for the account, and the primary point of contact with our administration.
Student
The individual receiving instruction — whether a child, teenager, or adult sister/brother — under any of our programmes.
Tutor / Mu'allim / Mu'allimah
An Ijazah-certified Hafiz or Hafizah employed or engaged by Quran Skool to deliver Quran instruction to students.
Session
A single live, one-on-one online class, typically delivered via Zoom or Google Meet.
Section 03

Eligibility & Enrolment

By the grace of Allah ﷻ, our doors are open to all Muslim families — born Muslims, reverts, second-generation Western families, and seekers of every age. However:

  • Children below the age of eighteen must be enrolled by a parent or legal guardian who accepts financial and legal responsibility for the account.
  • Adult students (18+) may enrol themselves directly.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during enrolment. Misrepresentation of identity, age, or contact details may result in suspension of the account, InshaAllah.
  • One account is intended for one family unit. Sharing of session links with non-enrolled persons or the resale of seats is strictly forbidden — this falls under the prohibition of akl al-mal bil-batil (consuming wealth unjustly), and we ask that families honour this.
وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا أَمْوَالَكُم بَيْنَكُم بِالْبَاطِلِ

"And do not consume one another's wealth unjustly."

— Surah Al-Baqarah 2:188
Section 04

Free Trial Class Policy

Alhamdulillah, every new family is entitled to one complimentary trial session with a qualified tutor before committing to any paid programme.

  • The free trial is genuinely free — no credit card, no deposit, no hidden auto-enrolment.
  • The trial duration is between 15 to 30 minutes depending on the student's age and level.
  • Free trials are limited to one per household. Multiple bookings under different names from the same family unit, with the intention of avoiding paid classes, contradict the Islamic principle of amanah (trustworthiness) and may lead to suspension.
  • If the trial is not satisfactory, you are under no obligation to continue. We will make du'a for your family and step aside graciously.
  • Recording of the trial session by either party requires the prior consent of the other.
Section 05

Fees, Payments & Currencies

Our fee structure is shared transparently after the free trial, MashaAllah. By enrolling in a paid programme, you agree to the following:

  • Fees are billed monthly in advance, beginning on the first day of each calendar month or on a custom anniversary date agreed upon at enrolment.
  • Payments are accepted in USD, GBP, CAD, or PKR through approved payment channels (credit/debit card, bank transfer, Wise, PayPal, or Stripe).
  • All fees are halal-compliant — Quran Skool does not charge interest (riba), late-payment penalties beyond actual administrative cost, or any compounding charges. The Messenger ﷺ has warned us against riba in the strongest terms (Sahih Muslim 1598).
  • If payment is delayed beyond seven days from the due date, classes may be paused — with prior written notice — until payment is received, InshaAllah.
  • Fees may be revised with thirty (30) days' written notice to existing students. No revision shall apply retroactively.
يَمْحَقُ اللَّهُ الرِّبَا وَيُرْبِي الصَّدَقَاتِ

"Allah destroys interest and gives increase to charities."

— Surah Al-Baqarah 2:276
Section 06

Refund & Cancellation Policy

We seek to be fair and merciful in matters of money, as the Prophet ﷺ said: "May Allah's mercy be on him who is lenient when he sells, when he buys, and when he asks for repayment" (Sahih al-Bukhari 2076).

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your enrolment at any time with at least seven (7) days' written notice via WhatsApp or email. No long-term contract is required, MashaAllah.
  • Refunds for unused sessions: If you cancel mid-month, the unused, unattended sessions will be refunded on a pro-rata basis, less a small administrative charge of 10% of the unused balance.
  • No refund is issued for sessions already attended, sessions missed without 24 hours' prior notice, or for the free trial (as it carries no fee).
  • Refunds are processed within fourteen (14) business days through the original payment method, InshaAllah.
  • In genuine cases of hardship — illness, bereavement, or financial difficulty — please reach out to us directly. We are merciful, biidhnillah, and adjustments are often possible outside the standard policy.
Section 07

Class Scheduling & Attendance

To make consistent learning possible — which the Prophet ﷺ called the most beloved deed to Allah ﷻ "even if small" (Sahih al-Bukhari 6464) — we ask that the following be observed:

  • Schedules are mutually agreed at enrolment and remain fixed unless changed with at least 48 hours' notice from either side.
  • Missed Sessions: If you cancel a session with at least 24 hours' prior notice, it may be rescheduled within the same calendar month at our mutual convenience.
  • Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or simply missed without notice, are forfeited and not refundable.
  • If a tutor cancels a session for any reason, it shall be rescheduled or credited in full to your account, InshaAllah.
  • Public holidays and the blessed days of Eid: classes may be paused on the two Eids and on mutually agreed local holidays. Pricing is adjusted accordingly.
  • During the blessed month of Ramadan, schedule adjustments are accommodated freely, MashaAllah.
Section 08

Code of Conduct & Islamic Adab

The Qur'an is the Speech of Allah ﷻ — its handling, its recitation, and its learning environment all demand the highest adab. Allah ﷻ says: ﴿لَّا يَمَسُّهُ إِلَّا الْمُطَهَّرُونَ﴾ "None touch it except the purified" (Surah Al-Waqi'ah 56:79).

By participating in our Service, you and your child agree to:

  • Maintain respectful, kind, and modest conduct in all interactions with our tutors and staff. Verbal abuse, harassment, or discriminatory remarks of any kind shall not be tolerated.
  • Approach the Quran with reverence — performing wudu (ablution) where possible before reciting, and treating the Mushaf and any printed Quranic material with the utmost respect.
  • Dress modestly during sessions, in keeping with Islamic adab — shoulders covered, hair appropriately covered for sisters where the tutor is non-mahram, etc.
  • Ensure that the learning environment (camera background, audio surroundings) is free of imagery, sounds, or content contrary to Islamic values during class hours.
  • Refrain from sharing recordings, screenshots, or session links publicly without prior written permission.
إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ إِذَا عَمِلَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَمَلًا أَنْ يُتْقِنَهُ

"Verily, Allah loves that when any of you does a work, he does it with excellence (Itqan)."

Section 09

Tutor Conduct & Our Promise to You

JazakAllahu khairan for entrusting us with the Qur'anic upbringing of your loved ones. We do not take this trust lightly. Our covenant with you, biidhnillah, is:

  • Every tutor on our platform is Ijazah-certified, has memorised the entire Qur'an (Hafiz/Hafizah), and is selected for both academic mastery and gentleness of character.
  • Every tutor undergoes screening, regular training, and periodic review.
  • Tutors will treat every student with patience, kindness, and the active engaged adab modelled by the Prophet ﷺ — never with harshness, mockery, or shaming.
  • If a tutor is ever unable to deliver a session at the agreed time, you will be promptly informed and offered a replacement or full credit.
  • Tutors shall not solicit students for private classes outside the platform, accept gifts of significant value, or share student information with any third party.
  • If at any time a tutor's conduct concerns you, please write to us immediately. We shall investigate with seriousness and act with adl (justice), InshaAllah.
Section 10

Intellectual Property

The Quran is the eternal Speech of Allah ﷻ — it belongs to Him alone, and no human being may claim ownership over it. Alhamdulillah.

However, the following materials are the intellectual property of Quran Skool and may not be reproduced, redistributed, or sold without our prior written consent:

  • Custom curriculum guides, lesson plans, progress reports, and worksheets developed by our team.
  • The Quran Skool brand name, logo, design assets, and website content.
  • Recordings of sessions, where permitted, are licensed for personal review by the enrolled family only and may not be uploaded publicly to YouTube, social media, or any third-party platform.
  • Any printed or digital teaching aids provided to you remain for the personal educational use of the enrolled student and his/her immediate family.

Quranic ayaat, authentic Hadith, and classical Islamic scholarship referenced in our materials are, of course, the universal heritage of the Ummah and are quoted respectfully for educational purposes — MashaAllah.

Section 11

Privacy & Child Safety

The protection of your child is among our highest amanaat (trusts). We pledge:

  • Personal information collected from you (name, contact, age, payment data) is used solely for delivering the Service and shall not be sold, rented, or shared with third-party marketers, biidhnillah.
  • All sessions are conducted on encrypted, password-protected Zoom or Google Meet links.
  • Parents are welcomed and encouraged to be present in the room during class — particularly for younger children — and may observe any session at any time.
  • Tutors shall not request personal information from children outside what is necessary for instruction (e.g., asking for home address, social media handles, etc., is strictly forbidden).
  • Recordings, if any, are stored securely and accessible only to the family and authorised Quran Skool staff.
  • Our full Privacy Policy provides further detail. By accepting these Terms, you also accept the Privacy Policy.
Section 12

Limitation of Liability

While we strive — Allahumma aati nufoosana taqwaaha — to deliver our Service with excellence (Itqan), we ask you to understand that:

  • The Service is provided "as is", and we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Internet outages, software glitches, or force majeure events (acts of Allah, natural disasters, war, governmental restrictions) may cause temporary disruption.
  • Quran Skool, its tutors, and its administration shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.
  • Our total cumulative liability in any matter shall not exceed the fees paid by the affected family in the three months preceding the incident.
  • The pace of a child's spiritual growth, Quranic memorisation, and Tajweed mastery is in the Hand of Allah ﷻ alone. While we provide the means with sincerity, the outcome is from Him — ﴿وَمَا تَوْفِيقِي إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ﴾ (Surah Hud 11:88).
Section 13

Termination & Suspension

Quran Skool reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account, with refund of any unused fees, in the following circumstances:

  • Repeated abusive, harassing, or discriminatory conduct toward our tutors or staff.
  • Sharing session links, recordings, or accounts with non-enrolled persons.
  • Repeated non-payment of fees beyond reasonable grace periods.
  • Use of the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or anti-Islamic purpose.
  • Misrepresentation of identity, age, or guardianship.

Likewise, you may terminate your enrolment at any time, with seven days' notice, in accordance with Section 6 above. We part ways with adab, du'a, and goodwill — InshaAllah.

Section 14

Governing Law & Disputes

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be addressed through direct, sincere dialogue (sulh) between the parties — for the Prophet ﷺ said: "Reconciliation between people is permissible, except a reconciliation that makes lawful what is forbidden or forbids what is lawful" (Sunan Abi Dawud 3594).

  • If direct resolution fails, the matter may be referred to Islamic mediation (tahkim) through a mutually agreed Mufti or scholar.
  • Should formal legal proceedings be necessary, these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, where Quran Skool's primary administrative office is registered, without prejudice to any non-waivable rights you may hold under your local law.
  • You retain all consumer-protection rights granted to you by the laws of the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, or your country of residence, MashaAllah.

Amendments to These Terms

From time to time, InshaAllah, we may revise these Terms to reflect changes in our Service, applicable laws, or to clarify existing provisions. When we do:

  • The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page shall be revised.
  • Material changes shall be communicated to enrolled families via email and WhatsApp at least thirty (30) days before they take effect.
  • Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
  • If you do not accept the revised Terms, you may cancel your enrolment without penalty during the 30-day notice period, biidhnillah.

We make du'a that Allah ﷻ blesses every interaction between us and your family with sincerity, mercy, and barakah. Ameen ya Rabb al-'Aalameen.
